U.S. President Barack Obama and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi renewed a 10-year framework for the U.S.-India Defense Relationship in New Delhi on Jan. 25.
One of the key areas of the agreement is to form a working group to explore aircraft carrier technology sharing and design.
Another area of possible cooperation is on the development of jet engine technology.
