The Indian Air Force’s Sarang helicopter demonstration team now has a woman pilot amongst its ranks.
Squadron Leader Deepika Misra is currently undergoing training. Meanwhile, she is the team’s safety officer and debriefs the team after each performance.
Joining her in the team is Flt. Lt. Sandeep Singh, an engineering officer.
