Another Turkish Air Force F-4 crash

The Turkish Air Force has lost another F-4 fighter in less than a fortnight. This time a F-4E went down in the province of Konya on Mar. 5 killing both crew members.

Konya Governor Muammer Erol has said the aircraft was not part of a joint Turkish-Azerbaijani military exercise.

The jet took off at 9 a.m. from Eskisehir airbase and crashed an hour into the flight.
