Lobbying by Augusta Westland to stop U.K. purchase of AH-64E

BBC Newsnight reports that Augusta Westland is lobbying to stop the British government from buying the AH-64E attack helicopter from Boeing.

Newsnight has been told that the order cannot go ahead until “after the election” because of the political sensitivities of opting for an off-the-shelf buy from Boeing.
