Indonesia not ready to take over airspace from Singapore

Indonesia’s Transportation Minister Ignasius Jonan says there are no plans to take over the control of airspace above Riau Islands provinces from Singapore.

Air Force chief of staff Air Chief Marshal Agus Supriatna had called on the government to take part control of the airspace last month.

Jonan said Jakarta is not ready to do so due to limited resources.
