Boeing’s subcontractors having problems developing KC-46A boom and refueling pods

Delays in developing the flying boom for the KC-46A is preventing the aircraft from making its maiden flight, the U.S. Government Accountability Office said.

Subcontractors were having issues due to late delivery of parts and design changes.

The drogue refueling pods are also facing the same problems.
