First Air Force files urgent operational need request for AESA radars on ANG F-16s

The First Air Force has filed an urgent operational need request to fit an AESA radar on Air National Guard F-16 Block 30s.

F-16s of the 113th Wing would be the first to receive the upgrades, these jets are tasked with defending the airspace over Washington D.C.
