JSOW C-1 enters operational testing

Raytheon announced that the Joint Standoff Weapon C-1 (JSOW C-1) is ready to enter operational testing after having successfully completed the final free flight in the integrated testing phase.

During the latest test, two F/A-18E/Fs were able to transfer control of the weapon amongst both aircraft and the crews were able to sent a post-launch retargeting command to reroute the JSOW C-1 from the initial target ship to a higher priority target.
