A F-16CM from the 55th Fighter Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base collided with a Cessna 150 near Joint Base Charleston at 11:30 a.m. on Jul. 7.
The military pilot, Maj. Aaron Johnson, was able to eject safely. The two aboard the light plane were killed in the crash.
