Tough landing conditions for B-52 at AirVenture this year

Landing skills of the pilots from the 93rd Bomb Squadron will be tested as they attempt to land a B-52 at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s AirVenture.

The massive bomber’s wing-tip landing gear spans 148 feet but the widest and longest runway at Oshkosh is just 8,000 feet by 150 feet.
