Airbus Helicopters has been commissioned by the Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) to study a mid-life upgrade (MLU) of the Tiger attack helicopter and bring it to a Mk3 configuration.

The study will incorporate lessons picked up by France during combat operations in Afghanistan Libya and Mali.
