U.S. Air Force has suspending the moving of service members’ families to Incirlik Air Base

The moving of U.S. military families to Incirlik Air Base in Turkey has been suspended by the U.S. Air Force. Dependents currently at Incirlik and nearby Adana were given the option by the Defense and State Department to fly back to the United States.

The move is taken as a precautionary measure although there is no known specific threat against the base or its population.
