A senior Pakistani government official has confirmed to IHS Jane’s that Islamabad is in talks with Moscow for an unspecific number of Su-35s.

However, a final decision is yet to be made. The same official said the Su-35 is ideal as it can fly further and deeper into enemy territories compared to the JF-17.
