Poland to launch tender for Vympel R-27 missiles

Poland’s Armament Inspectorate is to launch a tender to procure 40 Vympel R-27 (NATO: AA-10) semi-active radar-guided missiles.

The only fighter in the Polish Air Force capable of employing this weapon is the MiG-29.

The Armament Inspectorate says potential contractors from Ukraine may submit their offers.
