489th Bomb Group reactivated after 70 years, first B-1B Reserve unit

The 489th Bomb Group was reactivated on Oct. 17 at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, exactly 70 years after it was inactivated after World War II.

Former members of the 489th Bombardment Group were there for the ceremony to mark the stand up of the first B-1B Reserve unit.
