South Korea’s Agency for Defense Development (ADD) has been working on three of the four key KF-X technologies that the U.S. has declined to export to Seoul.

Selected guests were show working copies of the infrared search and track (IRST) system and electro-optical targeting system at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition. The IRST is adapted from a naval version.
A electronic warfare jammer is ready as well but was not shown at the event. Only the AESA radar required more work to be done.
