JLENS broke free from mooring

The Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS) broke free from its mooring station in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland on Oct. 28 and later came down in the vicinity of Moreland Township, Pennsylvania.

Two ANG F-16s were scrambled to monitor the blimp and it drifted for 160 miles, cutting power cables in the process.
