Mi-8AMTSh-VA to be handed over to Russia’s military on Nov. 25

Russian Helicopters will hand over the first Mil Mi-8AMTSh-VA to the military on Nov. 25 to kickoff state trials. The Mi-8AMTSh-VA is a variant of the Mi-8 designed for service in the Arctic region.

Carlisle: A-10 retirement date will probably move “to the right”

Due to several factors, the U.S. Air Force is considering shifting the retirement date of the A-10 and give the attack jet a few more years of service, said Gen. Herbert “Hawk” Carlisle, commander of Air Combat Command.
