RAAF E-7A sets new endurance record during mission over Iraq, Syria

A Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) E-7A Wedgetail AEW&C has set a new record by flying a 17-hour operational mission over Iraq and Syria.

A typical mission would normally last around 13 hours but the crew decided to take on fuel and keep station for a few more hours. It was only when they landed that they realized a new record was set.
