The PLAAF contingent for Exercise Falcon Strike arrived in Thailand on Nov. 12. Photos from the RTAF indicates China deployed four Su-27SKs and two Su-27UBKs from the 2nd Fighter Division, 6th Air Regiment at Suixi, Guangdong Province.

The single-seat Su-27SKs had gone through modifications with new Missile Approach Warning (MAW) system. Two are protruding on the fueslage, behind the pitot tubes, and two more on each side of the vertical tails.
At least one jet was flown in by a Golden Flight Helmet winner. His jet had four stars painted.
