Japan to carry out live-firing of XASM3 anti-ship missile next year

Japan plans to sink retired destroyer JS Shirane next year using a XASM3 anti-ship missile in the Sea of Japan.

The test-firing will be done at a firing range designated “G airspace” not far from Komatsu air base.
