Patriot PDB-8 upgrade takes out 2 ballistic missiles during 1st flight test

Raytheon conducted the first flight test of the Patriot Post-Deployment Build 8 (PDB-8) upgrades and the system shot down two ballistic missile targets in a single test.

A PDB-8 configured Patriot battery will have a new Modern Man Station (MMS) and Radar Digital Processor (RDP).
