The Royal Malaysian Air Force will fully deploy a squadron of BAE Hawks in Labuan, East Malaysia by the first quarter of next year.

Lt. Gen. Ackbal Abdul Samad said the current detachment whereby airmen are rotated to Labuan will end and up to 900 personnel will be stationed permanently on wards.
