Elbit Systems’s MUSIC Directed Infrared Countermeasure (DIRCM) system was successfully tested on an Airbus C295 last month.
The DIRCM was integrated with the Passive Airborne Warning System (PAWS) IR based missile warning system during the testing in Germnay.
The multi-national NATO test team was able to defeat first, second and third generation MANPADS, using generic NATO jam codes.
