Japan hopes to have women Blue Impulse pilots to fly for opening ceremony of 2020 Olympics

Japan’s Defense Ministry hopes to have some women pilots in the Blue Impulse aerobatic team by 2020 so that they can participate in the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics.

That is part of a broader plan to have female fighter pilots for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
