A South Korean defense official told Yonhap News Agency that Seoul wants to develop a stealthy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to attack North Korea’s long-range missiles and mobile missile systems.

In order to take out smaller targets such as 240mm multiple rocket launchers and 170mm self-propelled guns, the UAV will employ sub-munitions that can independently track and attack its target.
