State trials of Sosna short-range air defense system postponed till early 2016

Earlier this year, it was reported that Russia will start state trials of the Sosna short-range air defense system in summer, it is now apparent that the trials were delayed and will begin in early 2016.

RNZAF P-3K2 returned home after 16-month Middle East operation

A Royal New Zealand Air Force P-3K2 from No. 5 Squadron has returned home to RNZAF Base Auckland on Dec. 8 after spending 16-month in the Middle East.

Sikorsky awarded $354 million contract for 29 MH-60Rs

Sikorsky was awarded a $354 million contract for funding for the U.S. Navy’s fifth program year for 29 MH-60R helicopters, the Pentagon announced on Dec. 7.

Two Afghan Air Force airmen missing from Moody AFB

Two Afghan Air Force airmen assigned to the 81st Fighter Squadron at Moody Air Force Base failed to turn up for duty on Dec. 7. One of the men is an Afghan Air Force lieutenant, while the other is a senior master sergeant.

Northrop Grumman to upgrade radar processors for 11 E-2Ds

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $65 million contract to the radar processors on 11 E-2Ds. The modifications will mainly be carried out Syracuse, New York and is expected to be completed in October 2018.
