The U.S. Army plans to launch the Juno target missile from Fort Wingate to White Sands missile range. A booster from the rocket will detach and land into a safety zone on private and national forest land north of Datil, New Mexico.

A similar launch in 2012 left a colorful contrail that caused commotion.
