Outgoing U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel was reunited with the FIM-43 Redeye missile at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico on Jan 15.
Back in 1967, Hagel, as a young soldier, was part of a secret project to test the Redeye at White Sands before he shipped out to Vietnam.
