Russian cruise missile test goes wrong and hit apartment block

Testing of a Russian cruise missile went horribly wrong and the weapon deviated from its flight path and hit an apartment block in the northern Arkhangelsk region on Dec. 15.

TASS says the test firing was being carried out by NPO Mashinostroyeniya, a firm that designs supersonic anti-ship missiles.

Local media reported that three units and the roof of a three-story building was destroyed but no one was injured.
