USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) is the first aircraft carrier to test the MK 234 Nulka countermeasure on Dec. 16.

The decoy was fired from a MK 53 Decoy Launching System (DLS) and CVN 69 is the second carrier to install the system.
