Turkey expects more delays in getting A400Ms this year

The Turkish Air Force is expected to take delivery of two A400Ms in April and June this year, but the Turkish Defense Ministry has anticipated that those targets are unlikely to be met by Airbus.

An anonymous official from the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) told Reuters that talks are also underway to replace a Turkish A400M that crashed on its maiden flight.

Another source privy to the development said that those two A400Ms will be delivered this year but there was a “complicated” discussion under way over when the replacement can be delivered.
