AgustaWestland has been shortlisted by Philippines to supply two helicopters under its anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopter project.

The Italian firm offered the AW-159 naval helicopter and the company is now undergoing background checks by the Department of National Defense (DND) to ensure that it can comply with specifications and delivery schedule.
