Ilyushin’s first deputy general director revealed that his firm delivered eight Il-76 large transport aircraft to an unnamed Asian country in 2015.

Yury Yudin added that the contract, signed in 2015, is for ten aircraft and the last two will be delivered this year. The same customer is negotiating for five more Il-76s.
