The Defense Attache from the British Embassy in Moscow and the Assistant Naval Attache were accused of illegally filming and photographing Mozdok airbase early this month.
A source with the British Foreign Office told TASS that their Air Commodore Carl Scott and Assistant Naval Attache R. Coatalen-Hodgson were just carrying out their diplomatic duties.
Both men claim diplomatic immunity when they were asked to delete their photos and videos.
