Lockheed Martin sees Germany, Israel and Japan as potential customers for CH-53K

Lockheed Martin officials are optimistic that Germany, Israel and Japan will look to the new CH-53K as the replacement for their aging CH-53 helicopters.

Sam Mehta from Sikorsky told Reuters that Germany is expected to pick between the CH-53 or CH-47 by the end of the year. A win for the CH-53K will help drive down costs and spur more interest from other countries.
