U.S. Army to select and field C-12 and C-26 replacement in FY 2018

At the hearing for the House Armed Services Committee’s subcommittee on tactical air and land forces, Army Lt. Gen. Michael E. Williamson told lawmakers that a replacement for C-12 and C-26 aircraft is projected to be selected and begin fielding in fiscal year 2018.

The military deputy to the assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology added that the service also is investing in an improved turbine engine for the Apache and Black Hawk helicopters.
