USAF might need 41 UH-60Ms to replace 25 UH-1Ns

For the first time, the U.S. Air Force said it will need 41 UH-60Ms to replace 25 UH-1Ns now guarding the ICBM fields in northern United States.

All-in, the service has a requirement to replace 62 UH-1Ns, some which are being used to ferry government officials on trips around Washington DC.

Flight Global reports that the flying branch will soon decide whether replacing the 25 on nuclear guard duty is urgent enough to require sole-sourcing UH-60Ms as replacements.
