First CF-18, MiG-21 formation flight during Exercise Resilient Resolve

Four CF-18s are currently in Romania for Exercise Resilient Resolve. Here are two photos taken during the first formation flight with Romanian MiG-21s.

  1. As someone who got interested in all things military in the late 80s, this is a pretty cool sight. Two veterans of the Cold War flying together, training to work together.
