Fresh issues have crop up on the propeller gear boxes of the A400M but Airbus says the new setbacks will not delay its plan to deliver 20 of the cargo plane this year.

The first problem affects around 14 gear boxes produced in the first half of 2015. There were qualify issues with the ring gear on the Europrop TP400 engine.
A separate fault involves a plug that could potentially crack and spill metal pieces into the fuel tank.
