The Indian Air Force has dispatched four Jaguars, four Su-30MKIs, two Il-78s and two C-17s from Jamnagar Air Base to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska for RED FLAG-Alaska 16-1.

The contingent will be taking a western route to Alaska with stops in Bahrain, Egypt, France, Portugal and Canada.
The exercise will take place from Apr. 28 to May 13.
