The Russian military has placed an order for 24 Mi-28UBs and 2 Mi-26s. This is the first time it orders the Mi-28UB which comes with dual-controls.

The contract was signed by Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov and Director General of Russian Helicopters Alexander Mikheyev.
All helicopters are to be delivered by 2018.
