South Korea’s modified C-130s to be inducted soon

South Korea is about to induct four modified C-130s into service. The program to upgrade the aircraft so that they can deploy special operation troops behind enemy lines has been delayed since 2007.

According to the news article, the delay was due to the cargo plane’s radar inability to detect land features.
