U.S. Marine Corps wants to convert all its KC-130Js, MV-22Bs into gunships

The U.S. Marine Corps has laid out an ambitious plan to covert all its 79 KC-130J aerial refueling tankers into Harvest Hawk-capable platforms.

Lt. Gen. Jon Davis told USNI News that a similar plan – dubbed Osprey Hawk – will add the same MX-29 EO/IR Imaging and Targeting System, Intrepid Tiger electronic warfare pod and precision munitions on the MV-22B as well.
