Loaded on board a Japanese destroyer, the Tomahawk can be a visible deterrent against North Korea’s weapons and missile production sites, discouraging any aggression from Pyongyang.
The long-range cruise missile can also act as a multiplier to close a gap in effective striking power for Japan when dealing against a larger Chinese military.
