SeaRAM successfully took down two supersonic targets in a single engagment

The U.S. Navy put the SeaRAM to its most complex test yet by having its engage two supersonic targets that were flying in complex, evasive maneuvers.

A press statement from Raytheon said the weapon successfully took down both targets with the Rolling Airframe Missile Block 2 missiles.

The SeaRAM is an upgrade of Phalanx Block 1B and it swaps out the gatling gun with an 11-round Rolling Airframe Missile guide.
