RMAF has no plan to phase out MiG-29 yet

Speaking at the 58th anniversary celebrations for the Royal Malaysian Air Force, chief of air force Gen. Roslan Saad said there are no plans at the moment to phase out the MiG-29 but flight hours will be curtailed due to rising opearting expenses.

“We have been reducing the use of the aircraft since three years ago and so far there is no time frame as to when the aircraft will be completely phased out,” he said.
