USAF investigations dating back to 2004 were lost due to database crash

A U.S. Air Force database, managed by Lockheed Martin, crashed last month and information for investigations dating back to 2004 were lost.

The flying branch has seek help from the Pentagon and private contractors in an attempt to recover the precious data. The service does not believe the crash was intentional.
