Russia’s Interfax news agency says the Syrian Mi-25 that was shot down on Jul. 8, killing two Russian pilots, were hit by a TOW anti-tank missile.
According to Russia Today, one of the pilots – Ryafagat Khabibulin – had been a 25-year combat veteran and fought in Chechnya and Georgia.
