VP-8 deployed to U-Tapao, Thailand for joint exercise with RTN

A P-8A from VP-8 was deployed to U-Tapao, Thailand for Sea Surveillance Exercise (SEASURVEX) 16-4 with the Royal Thai Navy from Jul. 6-12.

Lt. Erwin Hale of VP-8 Public Affairs said Combat Aircrew (CAC) 10 had the opportunity “to show the operational capabilities of the U.S. Navy’s new P-8A Poseidon aircraft while exercising mission sensors in the Gulf of Thailand.”
